WampServer

I can access localhost fine, WAMP runs.. But my problem is when I go to localhost\index.php
or any other page containing PHP code it is displayed when it shouldn't be.. I had this problem when I tried running php files before they were in the www root. But now it happens with files in the www root, I am using ZoneAlarm and I am pretty sure I added all possible permissions for it to work. I tried re-installing WAMP with my firewall off and still no luck. Also, I had it working fine and all my php files were showing up correctly but I had to re-format my computer because of a virus, which caused wamp to stop working.

can you explain exactly how u go about runnign the file?

and wat colour is wamp icon?
