Wamp is only for developers?

Hello, I've a simple question, is wamp capable to support an active web?thousands of diary views? Or is only for developers? I always works with extern (linux) hostings and don't thing in that but now I've to install LAMP in an big enterprise and I thought to install wamp (the server have windows), well, only that, thanks to all and good work! grinning smiley

Hi,

This earlier thread has some points about the topic: [forum.wampserver.com]

There are a couple of differences to the Linux environment, though:

I have not found a solution how to the rotate the log files, and therefore once a fortnight I usually stop Apache, rename the log files and start Apache.

If you need to support large file transfers (100s of MB or more), make sure you follow the Windows specific instructions from apache.org to keep the server stable.
