hi,

i started my wamp to go online. it works fine. my website was posted over the net, but my problem is that im using my ip address as my server domin name.

is there a way to change my ip address to a domin name?

for example: 'http://192.168.1.1/index.php to 'http://myhomepage/index.php

i think there is a setting's in windows xp that let it change, DNS settings i think in control panel..

pls help me.

its easy to follow, but i tough there is just a simple settings in the windows that help me change my ip to a domain. but thanks any way. your a good help to me.

You have to buy a domain because you can not make it up since it will be registered globally so your domain can gain access from any where in the world. You can get one very cheap from here; I've bought mine for 15 bucks for 5 years ;-)
