WampServer

Hello! Is anybody using this extension successfully with the latest version of WAMP? It seems that I cannot load this extension.

I went through the usual drill of installing the extension by downloading it and copying it to the correct extension directory. I then enabled it by adding "extension=php_svn.dll" to the correct php.ini file, making sure extension_dir is set to the correct directory. Finally, I restarted the server. To my surprise the following error message was given:

php_error_log wrote:
[11-Jul-2008 08:53:59] PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'C:/wamp/bin/php/php5.2.6/ext/php_svn.dll' - The specified module could not be found.

in Unknown on line 0


Does anybody know what could this be caused by? I wasted my whole day trying to Google for answers but unfortunately to no avail.

It was rather suspicious to find php_svn.dll not to be present with other PECL extensions in the usual binary/installer distribution in PHP download area. I managed to download it from a snapshots archive. Could it be that the current module version isn't complete and doesn't work?

I would appreciate any comments anyone might have on this.

php_svn.dll is present at least in my WAMP 2 installation, and I have not done anything special to install it, as far as I remember.

Hi. I don't know what version you are using because I just downloaded 2.0c from this web-site, installed it and there was no php_svn.

Mine is just 2.0 which may explain the difference.

php_svn.dll need some others dll to be used.
I had exactly the same problem and i used DependencyWalker (freeware) to get all dll dependency in php_svn.dll.
If you use wamp in a fresh install of windows XP you will need all of them:
-intl3_svn.dll
-libdb43.dll
-libapr.dll
-libapriconv.dll
-libaprutil.dll
-libeay32.dll
-msjava.dll
-php5ts.dll
-ssleay32.dll
-vsinit.dll
-msvcr71.dll
-MSVCP71.DLL
Download them and put them in C:/windows/system32

If you want to see yourself which DLL you need exactly, you should try DependencyWalker on php_svn.dll

Hi,

i m getting the same problem in php_svn.dll and also i have downloaded all the dependency all mention dll files i have put in system32 folder and aswell in ext folder of php i m using wamp wampserver2.2c-x64 but i m unable to start that library everytime i run my example file it says svn_add() function now found.

please help me out

And did u enable it on the wamp menu?

yup i have done by going wamp php extension php_svn on but still not working

Are you sure you found 64bit versions of all the dependant dll's?

If not try using a 32 bit wamp

can you please send me link from where i can download dll for 64 bit os i m using windows7 and wamp 2PHP 2 to 5 ai have trie all versions
