No local host undr vista

Got the latest release - WampServer2.0c - installed under Vista. All services seemed to start and it is also online.

The problem is that I can not get into the interface under local host or 127.0.0.1 using Firefox 2.x


You help is appreciated.

Did you try as "[localhost"];?

this won't work either.

tittiger, run a command line in vista and type "ipconfig /all" and pick one of those IP's and by that you can connect to the wampserver. so if yout PC has an IP 192.168.2.5, type in FF [192.168.2.5]

I never had any problem w/ either xp, vista or even server 2k8 when using either localhost, lan ip, wan ip, or 127.0.0.1
