WampServer

My WAMP is working as a dream, besides the fact it continuously redirects to localhost. I checked the configuration files, but could not find any sign of permanent redirect. Yet, the logs show 301.

I tried to access the server both from my local network, and from a remote computer. I get the WAMP frontpage, but as soon as I request a project directory, it swaps the IP with "localhost", returning either a blank screen or 403.

Actually when I map localhost to that specific IP in my hosts file, it works, but I doubt that's its normal behaviour.

Any idea why is that happening and how can I fix it?

The version is 1.6.5

Check your app/script that has htaccess using mod_rewrite
