Unable to connect to my website from an External IP

Hello!

I'm new to WAMP server, and It's pretty nice so far - being able to install the 3 services in one.

Anyway, I kick on my server and turn it on to "Online Mode." Now when I type in my IP, or my DNS Address, I am able to connect and view everything appropriately. However, when i go somewhere else to a different IP, I cannot connect to my website, gives me the 'not found.'

Is there any setting I need to switch? or just not set up correctly?
I'm not behind a router at the moment, so thats not the issue.

EDIT: Oh, and, I opened up my firewall as well, so thats not the issue either.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick reply,

I tried all of that, and still no change. Any other ideas?

Then test to see if your isp block port 80 by editing file httpd.conf

Find:
listen 80

Change to:
listen 81

Save file and restart wamp to take effect; then, access your website as your_web_ip:81

If it works, then it's time to switch to different isp :-(

You were both right on track, turns out port 80 was blocked. My ISP is CHARTER, for anyone future reference. I did the no-ip.org and was able to get it routed to port 81.

Thanks much guys!

it's good w/ no-ip if you dont use any other features using different ports such as ftp, webdav, ssl, so on ;-)
