Hi, I`m new in Database programming ...

what I want to do is write a C++ code that connects to a database on either localhost or a specified server as I define in the code ...

also I need help on how to make a server on my PC ...
I have a dynamic DNS account on dyndns.com ...

I need the correct steps to make my DNS address (URL) be accessable from anywhere and links to a specific folder in the WWW (The folder I append the URL to) ...

Why don't you use PHP? PHP is a lot easier than C++ without all the hassle as PHP is installed on WAMPServer already

Thanks ... I know how to write it in PHP ... but I want to make a program to connect to a database cauze the program gets some data from the database and performs some operations on the system according to the data that it receives from the database ...

anybody ?? I need help as soon as possible ...

well ... there is another issue ... I followed your guide to create world wide access to my websites and be able to connect to my server from anywhere ... but after finishing all the steps the APACHE in the WAMPServer stops working and the WAMPServer icon goes yellow ...
