I am getting slow connection speed on loading first pageand am using php

I do not have adsl 2 were i am am i best to get

512/512
1500/256

For website speed??

Plus any ideas to speed up my site let me know I am a big fan of wamp and have got 3 other people using it.

The download size of your first page is around 600KB. At your current upload speed it takes quite long to download. If you go for 512/512 (these speeds are Kilo bits per second), it will still take at least 15 seconds to download, even if the whole bandwidth is available to one user, and obviously longer when several users download.

You may want to redesign or split the home page to several parts to make the individual downloads faster. If you re-use the key graphics elements, caching by ISPs and in the browser should also help.
