k i cant get your mysql working without a error is it possible to delete the mysql that comes with wamp and download a new one from the mysql website then link it to the wamp program? cuz i can get a new one right now and get it started in like 2 min yours errors out for me for some reason and its not the registry or nothin like that im positive its not old an old version blocking it or watev. so wut would i have to do to link a new mysql that i will download to your prgram

if you don't have any db yet, delete the current mysql5.0.xx folder in folder C:\wamp\bin\mysql, then you can go to mysql website and download the same version, name it the same w/ current one and put it where the current one is. Make sure to copy file my.ini to somewhere else before delete the current one and copy it back after put the new one in

with the MY.INI in place it will link the wamp to the new mysql?
