WampServer

Hi,
I recently installed scuttle with wamp server, it was working fine but due to some reasons i had to reimage my notebook so had to setup everything again.
when i tried installing wamp server again and installing it.
it gives me an error like this:

can any body help me on this issue its kind of urgent...please

looks like wrong versoin of mysql for scuttle.. did u download wamp off the site again? as it has chnage to mysql 5.0151b i think and wen u had it first it was proably much older..

maybe scuttle have a newer versoin of theirs?

no acutally i had the wamp server from the official website.i don't know about the version
yes the first one in which it was working fine was an older one, but i don't know which one it was.

no scuttle is the same i don't know what is the problem behind this...

let me know if you have some clues.

well im just saying maybe u should download the older wamp again... ul find it on sourceforge.. wamp5 is wat its called

hi did i also got different versions of PHP, mySQL and Apache but still it deosn't work...
i think some thing is wrong with the Mysql server only..

yes i think so too.. its not wrong... but scuttle cant use it... . uninstall all wamp , mysql php etc///
and download wamp5..

u can see on the table on this site wamp2.0c has apache 2.2.8 which wont run older mysqls

could you post a link for wampserver to which you are referring, as i could not find any with such name.

ya but where do i get a wamp server 5.0, i did see the table which says the compatability issue.

I tried installing the older version again, but still i get the same problem.

Have some questions for you:
1. Who set it up for you before?
2. If you set it up yourself before, did you forget to setup db before install it?

Anyway, you should correct it as errors show as follows:

You've uses wrong name for LC_MESSAGES and must be correct w/ one of LC_ALL, LC_COLLATE, LC_CTYPE, LC_MONETARY, LC_NUMERIC, or LC_TIME

You used wrong mysql type, must be mysql, not mysql4

Sound like you didn't create db before installing

If you correct everything properly, it should be like this

I set it up before.
but i don't know why it's not working right now
ya the warning are fixed already, i got the version of WAMP 5_1.7.4( the one you told from sourceforge)

i even imported database file to the phpmyadmin before running it.
then also it doesn't work out for me

You don't have to download and install older wamp version because you can install it on the latest wamp w/o any problem as seen in this link

yes i can.
but i thought it might have some configuration problem so gave it a try by reinstalling it older version(which was working fine when i deployed it before)

so just tried but now its not working.

so there is some problem with the scuttle files i think.

No, I don't think so, and I've already pointed out the solutions for all errors. The best way is delete scuttle's db and folder; then, re-create db for it, correct its config file before re-installing it
