Hello everyone, can you tell me how to create an alias in the DOS Command Prompt ? I have searched for the command but still can't find the answer........please help!!

For example:
there is a folder "myweb" under C:\
I want to create an alias "mywebsite" and the path is c:\myweb
so I can visit it by typing [127.0.0.1] in the URL

How can i achieve the above example in the DOS Command Prompt ?

Hi,

What do you mean by an alias? A link to a file or folder? Or something you cannot do in Windows?

Left click on wamp tray icon, then Apache, then Alias Directories, then just type in the name for your Alias b/w single quote. Include full path if outside www folder
