WampServer

Hi,

I was installed wamp server & ran hello.php successfully previously. After that I uninstalled it. Now in 2nd installation, I installed successfully wamp 2.0. But I'm not getting index/console page for wamp server. I'm putting following to address bar.

"[localhost];

I can not run same hello.php.

Please help me out. Its very urgent. I can not run any PHP code.

Thanks for early reply.

I tried with both index.php and hello.php. Both of them were in www directory. But none of them worked.

I tried uninstallation & installation couple of time. But nothing happened positive.

Its Blue.
But it seems to me that some how port 80 on my laptop is busy with other application. That's why it is not able to use this port. If this is reason, then how do I make this port FREE for wamp use?

Its...Yellow+white..

I solved the problem... the problem was with port no. I have skype in my computer. It uses port 80. If skype is on wamp can not access port 80. Once I signed out from skepe, I got index page for wamp!!!

Setup Skype to use different port so you can use both Skype and wamp.

Setup skype using different port as follows File -> Options -> Connection -> Uncheck "Use port 80 as an alternative for..."
