Change Port

I am a complete newbie. I just installed WAMP but cannot see either phpadmin or localhost. I have searched the forum and it looks like something might be using port 80, but I am not sure how to find out what that might be. I have Skype, but it is not running (completely exited). Will that still stop me?

Can someone tell me how to find out what is using a port and how I can change ports for WAMP?

Even it's not running, the port already reserved for it, so setup different port for skype
Setup skype using different port as follows File -> Options -> Connection -> Uncheck "Use port 80 as an alternative for..."
BTW, a little off topic, what good about skype why I see a numerous of people are using it???
