When I go to local host I see the message. Directory Listing Denied This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.
Following instruction in a recent post. For people how have a problem with localhost go to run and type cmd.exe then type C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.8\bin\httpd.exe or whatever yours is and read the errors.

it looks like uv another server installed.. probably microsof iis. ur best to disable this. ul find some setting in control panel or on the start menu under asministraion
u can also change mysqls port number...
its in c:/wamp/bin/mysql in a file called my or my.ini
the port is 3306
its written in the file 3 times
change hem all to 3307
please note i recommend disabling the other server and using the orginal wamp setup.
First I turned off ISS. That didn't fix it so I changed the number as well. Now I try to run a php file and I get an error message saying: Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
I tried typing into the browser the address you gave and It does a search and displays a bunch of results. If I go to the wamp icon and click on local host I get the same error message printed above. I am totally lost now.
