Problem in re-staring Wamp services

hi..
i'm having problem while i restart the WAMP server via "restart all services".

After installing WAMP Server sucessfully, It allows me to view index.php (or any other testing PHP files)
now i want to replace "localhost " with my IP address in httd.conf file and i did it sucessfully. Still i m able to view any PHP pages.

But ASA i do 'restart all services', it will stop working in any condition!!!!

I perform all operations like (put offline/put online, start all services), but failed.

Can anyone help me? It is Urgent.

Undo what you did and restart wamp to take effect

Thanks for reply….

I mean to say, apache only work with his original config file.
When ever I changed to it for my need it won’t work.

I’ve just try to change apache port.

For this I’ve change at two places.
[1] “ Listen MY IP:80 “ . (here MY IP is replaced with original server IP)
[2]. “ ServerName SERVERNAME:80”. (here SERVERNAME is replaced with original server Name OR IP )

Is it Okay…?

And these changes are essential for me.

Waiting for favorable reply…please help me

Through my signature, can you access my personal website? The answer should be "yes" and if you check Setup Virtual Host guide on my website, you will see that I'm still using "localhost" and my website has no problem accessible worldwide

It depends on app that you use; for example, hacker-safe for shopping-cart app, php sentinel for php-nuke plat or evo cms, so on. If you write your own script, consider to install mod-security, mod-private, so on ;-)
