Where to write the php code.

I have installed the Wampserver 2.0. Now i am a beginner so i dont know where to write the php code. If i write the code in html by using notepad then where i have to save the file and what extension i have to use to save the file.

Please give me brief answer. Thanks...

It's a "big" banner in my signature ;-)

Basically, you need to save file in default document root c:/wamp/www

extention should be yourfile.php
