Tips For Error 403 Forbidden on access phpMyAdmin

Note: Sorry for my language, but i'm not english, i'm italian

Today i have installed wamp,and phpmyadmin(phpMA) notify me a 403 Error:

so there is a small bug in the installation.

the version installed of phpMA is the "2.11.5" "BUT" in the "c://alias/phpmyadmin.conf" there is this two line wrong


look the version:

Alias /phpmyadmin "path:/where_are/installed/phpmyadmin2.10.1/"
<Directory "path:/where_are/installed/phpmyadmin2.10.1/">


WHY??? XD


Anyway the correct line are


Alias /phpmyadmin "path:/where_are/installed/phpmyadmin2.11.5/"
<Directory "path:/where_are/installed/phpmyadmin2.11.5/">


plz add this to the faq, are useful

hey ...

i have the same problem with the 403 Error.... but editing phpMA doesn't change anything...

are there any other solutions for this ?

Did you access phpmyadmin on computer that has wamp installed or from other computer?

Try to empty your cashe and see if that will help your problem.
