I am using Linda.com's sql and php software. I am following everything that is I see in video. When it comes to set the password in console that I have never set, the teacher in the video says to use this sentex
in console

use mysql
UPDATE user
SET Password=PASSWORD<'afshan'>
WHERE user='root';

When I come to this point Where user, I got error in syntex, though I follow everything exactly what teacher says. ERROR 1064 (4200). What should I need to do to avoid this error?
Is it very necessary to set password? Is this password shows that this is to set for the first time. I feel that this syntext is for update
