A search didn't turn up anything, so I figured I'd ask, I understand that apache and mysql can be compiled for multi-processor setups or no, anyone know if WampServer is done that way ? I have a Dual Xeon, so 4 processors.

I'm running wamp on Q6600, and of course it's faster than my old Dual core. Hope that's the answer you're looking for

Thanks and I take it you're seeing the apache/mysql processes use several processors in the taskmgr ?

Never pay attention to it. Can you make it more clear how to check it?

Well under a HEAVY load, in IIs you can see all the 4 processors at work in the task manager

Yep, I see all 4 working, but how can you tell if they are from wamp because I do have something else too, such as ftp server, mail server, so on

Yes, not very easy to see, you really need a VERY heavy load ! If it says 25% for Apache and one of the processors is maxed out then it would be single processor.
