The site you are trying to view does not currently have a default page. It may be in the process of being upgraded and configured.

Please try this site again later. If you still experience the problem, try contacting the Web site administrator. "

yfastud, it seems that the apache server is not running due to IIS6 is usein port 80

I've just noticed that, IIS and apache/wamp are both web server and both use port 80, so you have to disable iis in order for wamp to work

Disable IIS in Vista:

Uninstall Programs, Turn Widows Features On or Off, uncheck Internet Information Services

Disable IIS in XP:

Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Windows Components, uncheck Internet Information Services (IIS)

Restart computer, then restart wamp

Do you see my websites running w/o IIS? As already mentioned, both IIS and Apache are web server, you can use either 1 to publish your websites

Inetpub/wwwroot/ is the document root for IIS, and you suppose to save your folders and files in wamp document root c:/wamp/www folder
