Global Access

This topic has been raised before but none of them have answered my problems XD

I want people to access my websites on my home machine. I have got my IP address from a whatismyip website and when I type it in it says 401 Unauthorized Access. I then read somewhere on here about enabling Port 80. So I done a quick Google search on how to do that. I went into my Windows Firewall and added a port. Name of Web Server (TCP 80) with port number of 80.

This is now added and enabled and I still got the message. I checked WAMP and it is online.

Can anyone help?

If you don't have any .htaccess in your websites' folder, you probably didn't enable port in router properly

What are .htaccess tongue sticking out smiley

Ive seen it inside my wamp folder inside the apache module. I configured the Port exactly as that guide said. My last resort now is uninstalling and reinstalling wamp5 and then using the instructions again.
