Beginner: setting up wamp

I know wamp doesn't have a mail server but I am using wamp for education purposes and I need a way to send mail using the mail() function in PHP.

Also a few other things:

if I don't go online I don't need to worry about any of the security things do I? I'm just using this to learn PHP.

Is it possible to use ruby, ASP, and JSP and perl if so, is there any guides on how to add them?

Thanks

peace

If you don't go online, no worries about security.....tongue sticking out smiley.......as far as for the mail server, you need to install one, configure, and run, after you can run your scripts that contain mail() function, or what you have there.

BTW: for the mail to be send, you need to have an internet connection, or a later internet connection, presumming that the mail server will keep your mail unsent until you connect to the internet.
