Apache hanging?

Hi, I installed WS2 (after uninstlling wamp5 and rebooting) and got it all working.
2 versions of Apache, 2 PHP versions, it is all working.
Well, was working
After some usage (with ajax calls also) apache seems to hang and I can not kill the process. The only solution is a reboot and after rebooting several times i get a bit 'ggggrrrrrrrr' ;-)
Anybody had similar problems? It happens when using Apache 2.0.61 with PHP 4.4.7 (yes... old php project).
