Cannot access local host

Hello,

I have used wamp successfully in the past. However, I have not used it for awhile. This time around, when I try to access local host, I get a medium-size box in the center of my screen asking for a username and password. It says "connect to localhost" at the top. It also has a description that says "access for /logs". I can access PHP administration. Have checked port 80, and believe it's open. I was messing around with a running service starter/stopper program a couple months ago, maybe I messed something up. However, all services seem to be running fine according to the tray icon and services console in control panel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
thank you

Check to see if you have .htaccess in c:/wamp/www?

After reading your post, I a look at .htaccess and modified it to allow localhost IP address. Everything is working fine now.

Thank you very much for your speedy reply.
