WampServer

i'v un-installed the previous version and the installed wamp2.
all services are running and the server is online and the files are runing ok.

but when i'm trying to enter to PMA i'm getting a message:

#2003 - Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10050)

what is the problem?

Oh well, I keep repeat this, so suggest that you should do some little search before post

Wamp2 does NOT upgradeable from previous wamp, so before installing wamp2, make sure you uninstall old wamp, delete its folder, clean up its registry which is wampapache and wampmysql, restart computer then reinstall wamp2

In addtion, make sure you don't have any other soft that use or block port 80 and 3306 such as iis, skype, internet optimizer, zone alarm, windows firewall, windows defender, so on

1. before you attack me, i'v uninstalled all the files of wamp1!
i uninstalled wamp2, restarted my computer and installed it again..still not working.

2. how do i check if ports 80 or 3306 or blocked?

Hey, didn't attack you or anything, just a little friendly reminder; if you check 10 posts below yours, probably half of them has that same message. BTW, after uninstalling, did you delete all files and folders, especially clean up registries?

To check port, wamp includes that tool or you can use something else as you like
