Wamp apache service could not be started

I have upgraded Wamp from version 1.7.0 to 1.7.3.
Before the upgrade everything was working fine, but now, the wampapache service is not started any more. I always receive the same error:

A service specific error occurred: 1.

Please help, I don't know where to look for the error anymore?

Best regards,
Rick

I hope you did perform a full backup before upgrading; anyway, try to uninstall, delete wamp folder, clean wampapache and wampmsyql in registry, then reinstall wamp

Thanks for your quick response.

I have found the problem. It was Skype.
When I close Skype and then start the services,.and then start Skype. It all works fine.
But when skype is started first, the services will not start. Very strange, but I can continue again.

BTW I did make a backup!!!!
