MySQL does not start.

I'm trying to run wampserver on my Vistan computer and no matter what i do the MySQL does not want to start for some reason.

Any idea y?

Ran into some issues installing on vista, but I'll suggest checking the port specified for MySQL, and make sure that your firewall has that port reserved. Not sure if this helps, but more details from you may help us help you...

wamp works fine with vista. make sure you do not have any other copies of mysql installed. make sure that port 3306 is allowed in your firewall.
