apache crashes

I have a problem, apache keeps crashing. I have not installed any other modules and the port is ok. The error is a windows error 'Apache HTTP Server has encountered a problem'
Is there a quick fix or can I re-install the apache part of WAMP I have restarted the services many times and still get the same error.
