WampServer

I downloaded and installed v1.7.3. on a clean WinXP Pro machine.

Whenever I start the MySQL Service it stops on it's own. How should this be corrected? What do I need to check on my installation?

When phpMyAdmin is run I get a page that says "cannot load MySQL extension."
My Path says:
C:\Program Files\PHP\;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin;C:\wamp\php\ext;C:\wamp\php;C:\Program Files\PHP

What is the fix here?

You might need to enable the mysql extension; start wamp and left click on the wamp system tray icon -> php settings -> php extensions -> php_mysql -> restart wamp
