Hi All,

I accidentally clicked on the apache rewrite_module, which not only turned it off, but seems to have eliminated it from the apache module menu entirely! Anyone know how to restore it?

Hi,

That sounds odd. If you have a look at the Apache configuration file c:\wamp\Apache2\conf\httpd.conf, you will find a number of lines starting with LoadModule or #LoadModule. Among them should be:

LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so

If that line is not there, add it and restart the Apache server.

That worked! Thanks! It looked like it had been commented out, with two "#s" in front of it instead of the normal single one.
