open the file by this url :
[localhost]

where "yourscript.php" is the name of your php file

your .php file must be interpreted by the server (with [localhost])

I have exactly the same problem. I have spent a very long time trying everything i can to get php working. I tried using apache2triad and there was no hope, I then tried IIS with PHP and still nothing and ive also tried WAMP and still had no luck. The phpinfo() says everything is fine but php just doesnt work. Its the most annoying thing, I tried making a simple php page and nothing happened. I have searched and searched for a way to run php scripts on a web server and I have looked through dosens of tutorials and help things but there is no way it is ever going to work. Ive tried everything the help things said and I dont know why I havent already given up. It just doesnt work and I have no idea why.
