If you get the error:
"Either the server service or the configuration file could not be found..."
Add these two lines to your my.ini file (I put them just above the [wampmysqld] section):
my.ini is located in C:\wamp\mysql\my.ini if you installed wamp to the default path.
[mysqld]
port=3306
This seemed to fix it, no problem
