WampServer

I've enabled this in wamp/php/php.ini " short_open_tag = On ", restarted, and yet it's still not working for me. Please help, I have no idea what it could be.

You are editing the wrong php.ini file. The file you need to edit is stored in wamp/Apache2/bin/php.ini

Or you can just simply use left-mouse-click on the wamp icon in taskbar (on your bottom right side of your screen) and then go to Config Files -> php.ini
