JSON_DECODE error

I have the following JSON data
'[{"id":31,"name":"aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa","is_public":"0","status_code":"RL","url":"aaaaaaaa"}]'
and json_decode function (PHP) give me a NULL return.
The same does not happen with others servers. I don't have ideia where is the problem. I'm not sure if it is a bug or a program error. Maybe I should set some chartset. I don't know.
I would apppreciate if somebody could give any help. Thank you.

Hello,
I have the same problem with Wamp server. the json_decode function give me too a null return, whereas others servers give me the good result as you say.
May be you have found a solution since your last post. In this case, I would recognize you to share it with me !
