Hi, sorry if wrong place ! I am using Tríade PHP (Apache,php,mysql).
Reported from friend I came here see Wamp and liked.
So, I'll install Wamp.

Shall it automatic upgrade my apache, php, mysql, or must I uninstall all and do a clean install Wamp?

Hi Dimuka,
WAMP5 won't upgrade the PHP Triad automatically. It is better if you un-install (Remove) php traid and then install the WAMP.

There is no problem if you wont remove PHP Triad also. But only thing is that you need to run the appropriate APACHE.

wampapache -> For the WAMP
Apache -> PHP Traid


To control this, you can make use of "Apache Monitor" located in the folder 'Apaches2/bin'

OK. Unistalled Tríade. Got your page wamp link didnt work It's directioned just for source without installer I suppose ! Got wamp open source link and installed it.
I am going see it working now ! Tks. Vic

Dimuka, I got your mail,

I don't have any idea as Why the WAMP installer didn't work. Have you downloaded the Installer Properly ? Can you try downloading once again properly and completely?

in a window titled "MS-DOS SubSystem 16 bits" :

Choose - Close / Ignore" -

I didnt see a normal windows insytallation. Just an opened black DOS
window that didnt work...

I use windows xp pro en, sp2 and worked good in Tríade.

I Tryed "Ignore" but same error suceeding. Any idea? Tks. Vic

you can not have mutiple copies of php, mysql, apache, etc installed. uninstall phptriad, totally delete the phptriad folder. restart computer, install wamp.
