First off, I did everything according to this turtorial: [dev.joomla.org]
When I try to get to localhost (see figure 3.2) my computer wants me to enter a user name and password. What am I supposed to enter there? (Sorry for the silly question, that's the first time I use such software)

Hmm... i never had that problem. Have you messed with the config files? Changed ports or the allow, deny preferences?

You should be able to just access it if you haven't done anything with the config files.
