Hello I am having troubles putting the password up. The mysql phpmyadmin one up. I know you have to go to phpmyadmin and give the site a password. Then you go to config.inc.php and give it your password. A couple of questions

First off is that the main password I need to protect my computer? I mean are there others?

Also I have already set the password on phpmyadmin, but the config.inc.php file isn't there I swear its not. I will show you. I have already unenstalled and re-installed.

It IS right in there as config.inc and you can see it as config.inc.php only if you disable "Hide extensions for known file types" in Folder Options in Windows.

Most people have same problem. Anyway, go to Start, Control Panel, Appearances and Personalization, Folder Options, then click on View and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" then click OK
