WampServer

i have recently downloaded and configured wamp server and i have made various "projects". I now wish to create a domain on the web e.g. www.example.com so i can access it on other computers. I went onto .co.nr and when asked for my target url i promptly put [localhost]. When i tried the register it, it kept coming up with an Error!. Is there any other way that i could do it? Could someone help me or link me a place where i can resolve this problem. Thanks in due course.
