MySql not starting

Here is the error that I receive in my "mysql" log file. Error 32 says that the operation is being shared, but since mysql never runs, I don't understand how that could be so. This is a fresh install of 1.712, but I had the same error with 1.64 previously.

070607 21:02:05 InnoDB: Operating system error number 32 in a file operation.
InnoDB: Some operating system error numbers are described at
InnoDB: [dev.mysql.com]
InnoDB: File name .\ib_logfile0
InnoDB: File operation call: 'open'.
InnoDB: Cannot continue operation.

Sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks.
