Hi,

I have installed the latest wamp version but when I go to localhost/phpmyadmin to change the password, it doesn't let me pass. It immediately says the following:

phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in config.inc.php and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server.
Error

MySQL said: Documentation
#1045 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

Now I have tried chaning my config file to http authentication instead of config and entered root for username and no value for the password, however this doesn't work neither. Is there a standard password embedded with this new version of WAMP that I don't know about?

Thanks in advance for your help.
