403 Forbidden

I have installed WAMP5 Version 1.7.1 in my machine.

SO windows 200 Professional

when I try to run [localhost] or [localhost] always I receive the same error

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

or to phpmyadmin

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /phpmyadmin on this server.

Some body can help me to fix this problem

Try this link. It may be helpful as I have the same problem. However I have You don't have permission access on this server while I use $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']. If someone can help me only.

no, this is not a phpmyadmin issue, this is an apache issue. follow the last post here

I have found the solution on another website. It is quite amazing as it was just an echo to be added near the $_SERVER. Quite irritating as I have lost two night just because an echo commands. This site is useful for those having the same pb.
