I tried reading the forums on setting the memory but I just can't find a clue where are the php.ini files. I tried changing the php in the apache2 file to php.ini but I got different results instead.

could anyone point me to the right directory where I could activate php.ini file from the apache2 categroy but still yield the same results?

all i wanted was to change the memory size..
thanks
and forgive me for my noobness correct me if I'm wrong.
thanks for da help guys!

alright nevermind guys but for some noobs, let me share my experience.

i can't edit it so what I did after 8 long hours of figuring it out. Mind you i don't know php at all just tryin to fool around with joomla during the hols actually

1. back to the subject, to change the memory I edit the php configuration settings file.
2. then i change to php.ini
3. and then refresh apache2 server
4. and then when i check php info() from the [localhost], all the codes were out of place.
5. I changed the file php.ini back to php
6. refresh the apache server
7. the memory settings changed according to the limit i wanted.

but i still dont understand the process but it worked. anyone could help me out? thanks:-)

to open php.ini

start wamp -> left click on the wamp tray icon menu -> config files -> php.ini
