Hello i was just wondering why we cannot do any console commands with apache.

I tried.
E:\Documents and Settings\schnoodles>httpd -k restart
[Sat May 05 00:24:51 2007] [error] (OS 2)The system cannot find the file specified. : No installed service named "Apache2.2".

All though the php one works rather nice, and i prefer to use console sometimes as it actually outputs the error.

On the command line, just do:

NET STOP WAMPAPACHE (HIT ENTER)
NET START WAMPAPACHE (HIT ENTER)

You can create a batch file with that content, if you feel lazy enough.

Good luck,
