WampServer

So, I've been learning php on my machine for the past several months and am using WAMP. For some reason my Apache service won't load. I tried re-installing WAMP to no avail. The only possible change I can think of is that I installed IIS on this machine so that other people on my network could see what I was developing.

Could this have caused the problem with the Apache service?

Well, uninstalling IIS allowed Apache to load, but this brings up another problem.

When people type my IP into their browser it comes to the WAMP homepage. How do I designate a index.html or whatever to serve as the default page?

I know I'm a noob.
