cache/proxy enabled?

Hi guys,

I've just started using wamps to do some testing because it was a drag ftping all the while.

I have hit a problem with caching of requests at first I thought it was firefox doing the caching so I cleared the cache and found no change, I then disabled the firefox cache, cleared the cache and still got the same data.

After this I telneted into port 80 on this machine and did a direct request and I given a cached copy of the data which was a surprise because I didn't think apache did any caching without mod_proxy but I've never used it on a windows machine before.

where is this caching turned on in wamp and how can I turn it off? This machine certainly isn't going to be used for anything other than testing so I don't need any cache or proxy support.

cheers guys.
