you probably just need to install tomcat as a plugin on the apache version that wamp slapped on your system (apache alone is just a webserver, it does not handle jsp's by itself)
edit:
tomcat can run STANDALONE but you want to INTEGRATE it with your wamp-apache.
to integrate tomcat with your existing apache you need a connector.
check this usefull link, at the bottom it explains about "The Tomcat JK connector service" which integrates tomcat with apache:
[www.cs.wcupa.edu]
of course you also need to get tomcat itself
