WampServer

I am using webalizer right now for my site statistics. It looks like it is registering way to may hits for some reason. I started up another server with a new domain and it was up and running for about an hour and it says there were 2000 hits already. I know my site cannot be getting this many hits so quick. My questions are:

1. Is there a better program for keeping track of my site stats.

2. What could be wrong with my webalizer.

I tried looking for another forum on the net for webalizer help. Seems like there is nothing out there for some reason.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, heard that awstat is much better and much harder to install too. With awstat, you can log for more than just web server; for example, for ftp server, mail server, so on

[awstats.sourceforge.net]

Thanks man. I will try it out and see how it goes. You need perl to run awstats as well. Funny can't download it from anywhere, lol. Download starts then just hangs there. Other downloads work fine, so its not me!

You mean perl add-on? You can get it on my server here, but do it quick or I will remove it in 24hr

just search google for free traffic stats. you dont need to install anything. especially awstats, which is not easy to install.
