WampServer

I am learning php. I have copied a program that comes with package to c:\wamp\www but it does not run. Just a blank page. Html pages work fine, but again nothing happens when directed to a php page. However, typing "[localhost]; gives the output that is in index.php. I am using Win XP.

I installed the apache and php5 from their respective websites. My php program works with these but not with wamp. I have also reviewed previous submissions to this forum on the same problem. Nothing worked. I am curious. Why?

Probably, you script contain short_open_tag which yu can enable through tray icon / php settings.
