I have read all the documentation required to put online, however, it is not working.
I enabled port 80 in windows firewall, and clicked "put online" from the icon in the right corner.
I entered the URL like this:

[212.84.112.251]

I also tried:

[212.xx.xxx.251]

and i tried:

[212.xxx.xxx.251]

any ideas?

try [127.0.0.1]

can you see wamp server colored white (fully online with all services on) ?
if you cant, then its a problem with services, if you can...
be sure you turned all firewalls to accept or reroute port 80... not only your windows firewall but also your internet router firewall in case you have a router.

ok man

Yes localhost is working fine. I i couldnt seem to make sure that AVG is allowing port 80 to be accessed, if anyone knows how to do it on AVG anti virus would be greatful for instructions?
Also just getting used to wampserver, i was wandering, wamp5 comes with sqlite and mysql so is wampserver the equivelent to apache? or is this the name given to the package?

Also is CGI installed by default?

WAMP stands for Windows, Apache, MysQL, and PHP so of course it's not just equivelent to apache, but IT IS APACHE.

No, but you can install Perl add-on

Have fun

What you can do is, hardcode your ip address with an internal 192.168.1 or whatever subnet your router is on. Then do port forwarding to that address with starting port 80 and ending port 80. This is assuming you have a router. I am not sure if you have to open your computer's firewall, but you might have to. Well let me know how it works out for ya, and also if anyone else is reading this let me know if i'm wrong or not or if there is a better way to do it, cuz that's the way i did it.
